What are your hours of operation?
Answer:
Our hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

What ages of children do you serve?
Answer:
Our center serve children from 2½ to 10 years old . We offer day care,
preschool, Kindergarten, and School-Age programs, 2,3,4, or 5 days a week,
part-time, full-time, before and/or after school care for Kindergarten through
5th grade as well as a summer camp program.
Question:
Do you serve lunch?
Answer:
Yes we provide a nutritious and balanced hot lunch. You can

What do you serve for snack?
Answer:
Our morning snack usually consists of fresh fruit with 100% juice. In the
afternoon we serve crackers with 100% juice.

Do you provide transportation to the public schools?
Answer:
If your child attends C. A. DWYER , they are provided roundtrip transportation
by the Board of Education of Rockaway.

Is your staff trained in CPR and first aid?
Answer:
The staff are all CPR certified and most are first aid trained.

Do you have fire drills?
Answer:
Yes, we have a monthly fire drill and a log of these is kept.

Are you teaches certified?
Answer:
All preschool and kindergarten teaches are certified.

How
do you let parents know if you need to close due to weather?
Answer:
On the rare occasion we may need to close there is a snow chain to let parents
know.

Do
you provide an allowance for vacation time?
Answer:
Yes,
CNS gives a one week vacation credit per year.
Question:
What happens when the public schools have a delayed opening, early dismissal
and/or close due to weather or other emergency, or have a half day?
Answer:
Our
school Age children are welcome to attend when the public schools are closed,
have a half day, or have a delayed opening, or early dismissal.
